End of public consultation on improving stroke services in Coventry and Warwickshire
Posted or Updated on 13 Mar 2020
The consultation on the proposed options for the future of stroke services in the county, organised by the three local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Coventry and Warwickshire that plan and buy health services for local patients, closed on 2 February 2020.
As part of the consultation, we have received a lot of feedback from patients, the public and other interested parties. This has been through the online survey, the paper questionnaire and at a series of nine consultation events and 16 community meetings.
All feedback will be collated into a report, which will be sent to the three CCG Boards for them to consider before a decision is made about whether to go forward with the proposal for stroke services. This will take place in Spring 2020
The consultation feedback report will be available on the CCG and on the stroke consultation website at this time: https://www.strokecovwarks.nhs.uk/Home
Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Chair of the Clinical and Operational Group, Dr Gavin Farrell said “I have attended many of the events organised as part of the stroke consultation and have been impressed by the number of people who have attended to find out more and to give us their views. It is very important that we listen and understand the views of local people when we are considering developments to local health services.”
The CCGs would like to take this opportunity to thank those who let us know their views.
